BookGenius for Events is live!

The events package is live and ready for the first customers to start bookings this week. This is part of continual developments we are undertaking to meet the needs of our customer’s specific booking requirements.

The events package now allows users to

• Offer one-off or recurring events to the public.
• Offer events with an unlimited or limited number of places.
• Allows singles or groups to book places on events
• Take payment as for a single booking via swipe, deposit or full amount.

Our first customer for the events package is The Flying Corkscrew. They are a multi award winning wine merchant based in Hertfordshire. They will be using the events package to offer places on their extensive programme of wine tasting evenings that run throughout the year. They are due to launch the online wine tastings later this month.

Rileys Ltd appoints BookGenius to operate national online booking engine.

Rileys Ltd have appointed BookGenius to operate a booking engine to power online bookings at all 160 of their snooker and poll clubs around the UK. The move is part of Rileys ongoing plans to increase sales and appeal to a wider section of the population. From mid November customers all the 160 Rileys snooker and pool clubs around the UK will be able to search availability and book online to reserve their table.

Rileys were impressed with the experience the BookGenius team had gained from their golf operations and saw similarities in the market for snooker and pool.

GOLFLINKS.co.uk appoint BookGenius

Market leading Golf portal GOLFLINKS.co.uk have appointed BookGenius to operate and support a number of new ventures. This appointment is part of the company’s rapid expansion into e-commerce which includes the launch of an online shop, fully automated golf business directory and the launch of the UK’s most comprehensive online aggregator for golf holidays and tee-times in conjunction with Sky Sports.
